Finger paint

ok, here are a few picture of Taylor with his finger paints... He only spend about 30 min doing this, then he felt he was bored...
Ah well, enjoy the pics

Thanks Keyra

So what do you do when you have a 5 yr old asking for a baby. The questions started before Keyra had her baby, but the have sure continued since. He asked us when we were sitting at the dinner table last week, if he could help name the baby when we had one. This kind of shocked Jason and I, but we thought it would be just a short thing, and he would get over it.
Today, as we walk home from his bus,he askes if we can go get a "birth certificate" for the new baby, so we can hurry up and have a baby.
Taylor isn't dumb, he knows where babies come from. He started just after we were married, because in his eyes, you need to be married before babies can come, and then you have a baby, and the father leaves. I hope we have him understanding that Jason is not going to leave when we have a baby. We have talked about this a number of times. So the questions keep comming, as to when we are gonig tno have a baby. I can safley say, its not up to us, but up to the big man upstairs! (and I don't mean my landlord)
Even when times are hard with Taylor, I can still enjoy every minute with him.

drawings by Taylor

Ok, so I was told I had to post these pictures for Nanny. Taylor took the pictures, and made the drawings. He is so cute! You sure gotta love him. Not sure what the drawings are about. Heck, I am not sure who gave him permission to use the markers on the papaer (he did this while Jason and I were still sleeping, but it isn't a big deal). Ah well, whats done is done. Now its here for all of you to enjoy!

Boys and their toys

Thank you Nanny for giving Taylor this wonderful remote control car. However, I am not sure who has more fun with it. As you can see by the following pictures, both Jason and Taylor were having fun with it. Check out Taylor's face, gotta love that tounge!
We are enjoying the nice weather while we can, still no snow. Today was windy, but not so bad only -3 ish.
Enjoy the pictures!

Changes...

Sorry to have to do it, but I've turned on a word verification on the blog comments to stop people from spamming the comments section. I realize this makes it harder to post a comment, but we needed to do it.

Again, very sorry for any inconvenience this will cause..

pics

Well this is some pictures of Taylor playing with his toys. And his new hair cut. We have found that keeping his hair nice and short, we can keep a handle on this scalp problem that we are having. He sure likes all the new toys he got this year. I am going to have to start taking more pictures of him and his toys. He got a lot of new things this year. We took all his old toys and put them in the storage unit for now. It is quite a challenge living in such a small space. We all just have to remember it is only for a short time.

Brag

Ok, so now my sister has her brag site up, I don't have to do all of the braging!
You are welcome to check out Keyra and Andrew's site from the link at the right of the page.
Enjoy the wonderful pictures of my neice!

Christmas pictures

We would like to thank our wonderful families for all the great gifts we recieved. We had a good time in Kenora. Here are a few pictures of Christmas for you. Jason said he will get the other site up and running soon.
Thanks for waiting on us!!

Downtime, ect....

Sorry for the downtime on the picture gallery, someone must have decided it would be a good thing to reboot all the servers at work, after I left explicit instructions to not shut my machien down as it would not boot up again on it's own... Oh well, I'll be back to work Monday with two new-to-me 18Gb Ultra160 SCSI drives for it which should solve the problem (right now I have 4 x 4gb SCSI drives in RAID-5 to make 12gb and give me redundancy, 2 x 18gb mirrored will give me more space and the same redundancy).

Cheat time!!

Ok, so I don't have the pictures up with a blerb to go with them, but you can check them out by clicking on the "Our Picture Gallery" on the right. We will add more pictures there. Jason has them up on the computer, so that they are easy accessed. You can also view pictures from our wedding, Keyra and her new baby, and whatever else we found on the computer!! I am going to see if I can put the ones from my girlfriends wedding up also (when Taylor and I came back to Kenora in Sept). I am sure that as you browse the pictures, you will want a cup of coffee or tea, something to keep you going for a while!
Enjoy the wonderful day. Those of you in Brampton area, don't talk to me about the no snow factor.... wait.. you either David and Susan... a green christmas... how could you. LOL

more pictures

Well I have a few pictures to post. Taylor's school picture, Keyra the pregnant one, and then all three of us girls and Taylor (Keyra, Aly and Myself).

We went to keswick for christmas with my father last night. It went well. Taylor was content with the way things went, and was happy to play with Alex.
After we got home last night, we ran to Janet and Peters house for David and Susan's send off. It was nice to be able to get together with our friends and say farwell. We are sure going to miss the three of them. They are very special people. I am sure the Lord will continue to bless them.
Have a great day!

Turkey

Well last night we had our "Christmas" dinner. I did the turkey (fallingn apart and all), baked corn (in the slow cooker for the first time), smashed potatos, and gravy. Jason made the Salad for me. Things turned out really yummy. Taylor however was more intrested in playing with Michi, and Julia then eating, but he is making up for it today. I did get him to eat his turkey, but thats about it.
I love to have company for dinner. I enjoy cooking for friends and family. I thank our wonderful friends Dave, Susan, Julia, and Michi for coming to enjoy the wonders of my kitchen. We sure are going to miss you guys when your gone.
Taylor has asked me again today if he can marry Julia when he gets older. So watch out Dave, I sent him your way... told him he as to talk to you and Sue before any of that can happen!
Have a wonderful snowy day!

Skate!

Well last night we all went to Gage Park. We had some fun. I got a few pictures of while we were there.
Today, Taylor and I went with Aunty Jen (my ex husbands sister) to visit her grandma and grampa, Aunt Marie, and Aunt Aggie. Taylor seemed to have lots of fun. He hadn't seen his great grandma/grandpa since he was very young. I am glad that he got the chance to visit with them. I didn't get pictures, as I forgot my camera at home, but I am hoping that the pictures that Jen took with grandpa's camera make it my way.
Not much else to report today. Taylor is already getting excited about the few gifts under the tree, and wanting Santa to hurry up and come.
Have a great night.

mmmm hungry

Well, Sue and I did some baking of Gingerbread last night, and she got me started. Tonight, Jason and Taylor decorated some cookies, while I did some more baking.
There is gingerbread, shortbread, and bananna bars. I am not sure what on earth I am going to do with all this baking. Knowing Sue and I are going to meet with others on Monday and share our baking then. Ah well, I guess traditions never die.

I want your advice on if this is an ok colour for both boy and girl. I hope it shows up ok on here, I did my best when taking the picture. There is purple, pink, blue, tan, green, and they are all mixed.. let me know Please leave a msg!

Visiting

We went to Barrie to visit Kim, Neal and the kids. Taylor didn't leave Daniels side the whole time we were there. I sure hope that I didn't set Taylor up for anything bad. I don't know how often we will be able to make it up to Barrie between now and when we move. I am sure that we can arrange some visits, but it is an hour away. I guess that isn't that long when you think about it. And the road does drive both ways. I should have taken the camera with us, but I forgot until we were driving home. Kim and Neal found a great house. They are close to everything. It is a good size for them. I sure hope they will stay there for a long time. Buying a house isn't a small step.
I will keep them in our prayers.
The drive up was very nice, looking at the town, the area, and all that goes on. The drive home was in the dark, and a very quiet drive. Taylor slept most of the way home.

wait... wait... wait...

I am still waiting to hear that my sister has had her baby. The last few times I have talked to her, she has been wanting the baby to come early. She only has 19 days left until her due date, but we all think she is going to go early. Not to mention the fact that she has been drinking rasberry tea as much as she can (it is supose to induce labor).
We are slowly starting to think about our trip to Kenora for Christmas. It isn't easy to think about it when it seems so far away yet.
We are going to head to Barrie area on saturday to visit a friend, and see her new house. Taylor is getting excited as he gets to see his bestfriend from Kenora again. He has been looking forward to this weekend for the past few days. I am sure that he and Daniel will have lots of fun.
Well not much else to say right now. Maybe later today sometime.
Have a good one!
